Skillcity supports young people with a range of additional needs, with tailored programs to help young people aged 11 – 25 fulfill their potential.
Particularly with youth NEET (Not in Employment, Education or Training), who are at risk of becoming socially excluded – individuals living below the poverty-line and lacking the skills to improve their economic situation.
Our Catch-Up program helps these young people to develop employability life skills and confidence, progress in education or move into work or apprenticeships. This can include achieving accredited qualifications.
Business volunteers support our projects. Volunteers act as role models who can offer insight into their experiences of education and work. They may have followed alternative education or employment paths themselves.
